Washington state. We are a modern, full-service agency that is nationally accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
Total Population- 521,150 residents (~240,000 in the patrol-response service area)
Size- 656 square miles
238 total employees- 157 commissioned and 81 support positions
Annual Budget- $43.5 million
Two branches- Enforcement Branch and Support Branch
Added 12 Enforcement positions and one Non-Sworn Professional staff position in 2024 with the expansion of our Campus and Civil Units and the addition of the City of La Center police services contract.
